Economy

St. Petersburg

St. Petersburg is home to cultural amentities that run the gamut. The St. Petersburg Sunken Gardens is a 100 year old museum showcasing some of the oldest tropical plants in the region. Mahaffey Theater is a 2030-seat bayside cultural venue featuring elegant ballroom space, spectacular waterfront views, and European box-style seating during performances including the Florida Orchestra. Tropicana Field and Progress Energy Park help keep the pastime of Baseball alive in Tampa Bay. Clearwater

The County seat of Pinellas, Clearwater is a progressive city, diverse in population and poised for success in the 21st century. The Downtown Clearwater area is expanding. With a downtown redevelopment plan, the City is working to build at least 1,800 new residential units and to redesign the main street, Myrtle Avenue and the waterfront.
